In this guide, a KEYDIY FB02-3 smart key is used to program a 2023 Leapmotor C01 using KEYDIY KD-X4 key programmer.
Generate the Remote First
Before entering the immobilizer programming process, the remote needs to be generated in KD-X4 Remote menu. Once the corresponding Leapmotor remote program is created, the key is ready for matching.
After the remote generation is complete, enter the vehicle programming menu and select Leapmotor C01 (2023+).
Write the Vehicle Configuration
Whether you are adding an extra key or performing an all-keys-lost procedure, the configuration must be written first to activate the remote control system correctly. After the writing process finishes, the vehicle is ready for key learning.
Perform All Keys Lost Programming
In this example, no working key is available, so the [All Smart Keys Lost] function is selected.
Once executed, all previously stored keys are erased and the system reports zero registered keys. The new FB02-3 key, equipped with lock, unlock, and trunk buttons, can then be programmed.
Following the on-screen instructions, press the [Unlock] button for approximately two seconds, then immediately press the [Lock] button for another two seconds.
Within moments, the KD-X4 Locksmith’s Universal Tool confirms that the key has been successfully matched.
Verify Key Operation
After programming is complete, simply test the remote functions to ensure everything operates normally.
The lock, unlock, and trunk release functions should all respond correctly, confirming successful programming.
